I am Alicia Rodriguez, a brand identity designer and architect from Mexico, based in Sydney. Architectural training taught me that everything should exist for a reason: every line, every proportion, every colour. A lifelong passion for psychology taught me where that reason needs to come from. Not the product or the bottom line, but the people behind it and the people it is meant to reach.
Those two disciplines sit at the foundation of every identity I build.
Strong identities do not come from templates, designer's ego, or chance. So, before anything is drawn, I want to understand what your business actually is. Its values, its origin story, the gap it fills, the team that makes things happen, the people that enjoy it. That understanding is not a preliminary step, it is the work.
